Disturbance

Around 1:35 this morning, Police attended the Robin Hood Pub & Restaurant on Richmond Road in Pembroke, after receiving a complaint of loud music. On arrival, a scuffle occurred between two groups of men. While attempting to restore order, Police recovered a blue vinyl covered object which was later discovered to be a taser. Shortly thereafter, the crowd promptly dispersed resulting in no arrests. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Sudden Death

The Bermuda Police Service can now confirm the death of 37 year old Peter Pappas. Mr. Pappas, a U.S. national, was found dead in his room at a Hamilton parish guest property. Police are investigating the circumstances that led to his death. Foul play has not been ruled out.

Breaking & Entering

At 1:40 this morning, Police attended a reported breaking and entering at a Lusher Lane, Warwick residence. The suspect gained entry into the residence and was seen standing in a bedroom by the occupant of the house. A struggle ensued, however the suspect was able to make good his escape. He is described as a black male between 32 and 40 years old, weighing approximately 200 pounds wearing a white shirt and dark shorts. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
