Fatal Marine Incident

At 1:30pm today, Police received a report of two boys, aged 2 and 3 years old having been pulled from the water at Kindley Field Road, St. George's near the BAS kitchen. Attempts were made to resuscitate both children at the scene by an off duty EMT. Both boys were rushed to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital by St. John's Ambulance where the 3 year old boy died as a result of his injuries and the 2 year old is currently in the Intensive Care Unit. Police are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed this tragic incident or anyone who may have captured the incident on any recording device e.g. camcorder or cellular device to contact Police on 295-0011. No further information will be released at this time.
