Injury RTC

Around 7pm on Thursday, Police attended a reported single vehicle road traffic collision resulting in injury at the junction of South Road and Brighton Hill Road in Devonshire. It appears that a car was traveling south on Brighton Hill Road when the driver, a 71 year old Devonshire man, lost control due to a pre-existing medical condition. As a result the car went through the intersection and collided with a utility pole on the opposite side of South Road. The 71 year old man sustained cuts & abrasions to both knees and was taken to KEMH via ambulance for treatment. The car received extensive front end damage. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Burglary

Around 5:10pm on Thursday, Police received a report of a burglary at a Longford Road, Warwick residence. The complainant stated that sometime between 10:45am and 4pm that day, an unknown culprit gained entry into her home while it was unoccupied. The culprit stole a Pentax digital camera, a silver & black Dell laptop computer, an X-Box 360 video game system, a quantity of jewelry and a quantity of cash. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
