Burglary

At 9:40am on Sunday, Police attended a reported burglary at a Wellington Street, St. Georges premises. On arrival officers spoke with the complainant who stated that sometime between 4:55pm on Saturday and 9am on Sunday, an unknown culprit gained entry into a warehouse on the premises. The culprit stole a quantity of miscellaneous items (tools, electrical equipment, paint etc.). Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Theft

Around 6:15pm on Friday, Police received a report of a theft from Arnolds Express on Church Street in the City of Hamilton. The complainant stated that sometime between 10:30am and 11:30am that day, an unknown culprit stole a blue canvas bag containing pre-paid phone cards. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Weekend Activity

Over the Queens Birthday holiday weekend there were 5 people arrested on suspicion of impaired driving and 3 reported burglaries (1 in St. Georges, 1 in Pembroke and 1 in Warwick). There were also 20 reported damage only road traffic collisions, 10 reported road traffic collisions resulting in injury and 11 vehicles reported taken without their owners consent.
