Burglary

At 4:45pm on Wednesday, Police attended a reported burglary at a Clarendon Lane, Hamilton parish residence. On arrival officers spoke with the complainants who stated that sometime between 8am and 3:55pm that day, an unknown culprit gained entry into their home while it was unoccupied. The culprit stole an X-Box 360 video game system, a quantity of DVDs and a quantity of cash. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Around 4:10pm on Wednesday, Police attended a reported burglary at a Somerset Road, Sandy's parish residence. On arrival officers spoke with the complainant who stated that sometime between 4:30pm on Monday and Wednesday morning, an unknown culprit gained entry into her home. The culprit stole a quantity of jewelry. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Theft

At 11:35am on Wednesday, Police attended a reported theft from an unattended vehicle. On arrival officers spoke with the complainant who stated that sometime between 3:30pm on Tuesday and 9:30am on Wednesday, an unknown culprit gained entry into the company van parked behind Unlimited Supplies on Elliot Street West in Pembroke. The culprit stole a quantity of tools. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Appeal

The Bermuda Police Service has recently recovered items which we believe may have been taken during burglaries over the past few months.

  • A quantity of jewelry
  • A 10" masonry Makita saw
  • Two Power Glide reciprocating saws
  • A Makita chipping hammer
