Burglary

A residence on South Avenue in Southampton reported a burglary that took place last night. The complainants stated that they retired for the evening at 11:30pm only to awake the next day to find out that someone had gained entry into their home and made off with an undisclosed amount of cash. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Theft

Police responded to a report of a theft from an unattended vehicle. The complainant states that he parked his taxi on Watlington Road East next to Lindo’s in Devonshire at around 4:30pm. He returned 5 minutes later to notice that someone had gained entry into his taxi and helped themselves to his money pouch which contained an undisclosed amount of cash. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
