Two Vehicle Collision in Pembroke

Around 9:30am on Monday, March 2nd first responders were dispatched to a reported two vehicle collision at the junction of Woodlands Road, Serpentine Road and Par-La-Ville Road in Pembroke.

It appears that a car driver and a motorcycle rider were attempting to negotiate the round-a-bout at that location when their vehicles collided.

The injured motorcyclist, a 38 year old Pembroke woman, was taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance for treatment. At last check she was recovering in stable condition on a general ward.

Section of Harbour Road Reopened to Normal Traffic Flow

Temporary traffic lights along a section of Harbour Road in Paget near the Royal Hamilton Amateur Dinghy Club have been removed as necessary roadwork has apparently been completed. Normal traffic flow has since resumed in the area.

The essential repairs were carried out by Watlington Water personnel on Monday, March 2nd after a burst water pipe was discovered at that location around 2:45am Monday.
