Two Teen Boys Arrested in Connection With Scooters Stolen from TCD

Detectives are currently conducting inquiries regarding three 50cc scooters recently reported stolen from the Transport Control Department (TCD) on North Street in the City of Hamilton.

The three scooters were secured in a shipping container on the premises and used for Project Ride.

It appears that all three were removed sometime between 6:30pm Thursday, April 5th and 9am Saturday, April 7th.

Two of the scooters were subsequently recovered while the third, believed to be a maroon coloured Suzuki Address 50cc bearing license plate 566 AQ, has not been located at this time.

A 14 year old boy and a 15 year old boy were arrested in connection with this matter and later released on police bail pending further inquiries.
