Two Motorcyclists Injured in Warwick Collision Saturday Night

Around 9:20pm Saturday, July 22nd police and first responders were dispatched to a reported two vehicle collision on Middle Road in Warwick near the junction with Longford Road.

It appears that two motorcyclists traveling in opposite directions collided.

The two riders involved, believed to be a 52 year old Warwick man and a 29 year old Southampton man, were injured and taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance for treatment.

‎At last check Sunday afternoon (July 23rd) the older man was recovering in stable condition on a general ward while the younger man had been treated and later discharged.

Traffic was diverted away from the area for approximately three hours while the relevant police personnel processed the scene.

Both motorcycles involved were impounded and inquiries continue.
