Two Men Remain in Police Custody, One Woman & Four Men Bailed [Updated]

The investigation regarding the anti-social incident at Southampton Rangers Sports Club continues.

Currently two of the men arrested (24 and 32 years old respectively) following Saturday’s early morning anti-social incident remain in police custody – while three other men (21, 25 and 30 years old respectively) arrested in connection with the incident have been released on police bail pending further inquiries.

A 23 year old man admitted to hospital for further medical assessment was later discharged. He was also arrested in connection with the incident and subsequently released on police bail pending further inquiries.

In addition, a 27 year old woman arrested after the incident early Saturday remains on police bail.

Detectives renew their appeal for any witnesses or members of the public with relevant information regarding the anti-social incident that occurred at Southampton Rangers Sports Club around 3am Saturday to contact the Criminal Investigation Department on 247-1744 or the independent and anonymous Crime Stoppers hotline 800-8477.

Suspected Impaired Driver Arrested After Warwick Car Crash

Around 3:30am Saturday, February 2nd police officers were dispatched to a reported single vehicle car crash on South Road in Warwick near the junction with Warwick Lane.

The car involved was found damaged and unoccupied after the driver struck a wooden fence in the vicinity of Astwood Park.

A 27 year old Warwick woman, believed to be the driver at the time of the crash, was later arrested on suspicion of impaired driving.

She was apparently unhurt.

Two Women Involved in Front Street Fight Early Saturday Arrested

Around 3am Saturday, February 2nd police officers responded to a report of two women involved in a physical altercation on Front Street in the City of Hamilton.

The two women involved, said to be a 19 year old Devonshire woman and a 26 year old Pembroke woman, were arrested.

The 19 year old woman was later released on police bail, while the 26 year old woman remains in police custody at this time.

Update: Tuesday, February 5th - The 26 year old woman arrested after she was involved in a physical altercation with a 19 year old woman around 3am Saturday, February 2nd on Front Street in the City of Hamilton was released on police bail Monday (February 4th) pending further inquiries.

The teen was released previously and remains on police bail.
