Two Men in Critical Condition After Southampton Rangers Disturbance

Around 11pm on Sunday, October 16th police officers responded to a disturbance and unconfirmed firearm incident outside the Southampton Rangers Cricket Club.

Details remain unclear at this time. Initial reports suggested that shots were fired; however currently there is no forensic evidence to substantiate those reports.

As police personnel secured the scene, a 29 year old Southampton man was arrested for affray and remains in police custody at this time.

At last check two men stabbed during the disturbance, a 32 year old Warwick man and a 28 year old Pembroke man, were both in critical condition at the hospital’s Intensive Care Unit.

Court Street Gunshot Victim Treated & Discharged From Hospital

The 24 year old male injured in a shooting that occurred around 9:30pm Thursday, October 13th on Court Street in Pembroke was initially admitted to a general ward at King Edward VII Memorial Hospital for treatment of a gunshot wound to the arm and subsequently discharged.

So far no arrests have been made. The investigation continues and detectives are still interested in speaking with any witnesses or persons with relevant information regarding this incident.

Appeal for Information Regarding Reported Suspicious Incident

Police continue to conduct inquiries into a suspicious incident reported by a third party around 6pm Sunday, October 16th and renew the appeal for other witnesses or those involved to come forward.

The incident apparently involved a confrontation between two women on an auxiliary cycle and three unknown males on two auxiliary cycles in the Admiralty House Park, North Shore Road Pembroke area.
