Trainee Police Motorcyclist Sustained Minor Leg Injury in Paget Crash

Around 10:30am today (March 20th) a police motorcyclist taking part in the current police motorcycle training course crashed on South Road in Paget.

Initial information suggests that the incident occurred near the junction with Mission Road and that the officer involved sustained a minor leg injury which did not require hospital treatment.

However, he was treated at the scene by attending ambulance personnel.

The police motorcycle was the only vehicle involved and apparently sustained minor damage.

ICU Condition Updates

At last check this morning (March 20th) the 30 year old man seriously injured in an altercation with another man on Front Street around 3:15am Sunday, March 18th remained in critical condition in the hospital’s Intensive Care Unit.

Separately, at last check this morning (March 20th) the 18 year old woman that was more seriously injured in a single vehicle car crash which occurred around 10:20pm Monday, March 12th on Middle Road in Smith’s parish near the junction with Clarendon Road remained in stable condition in the hospital’s Intensive Care Unit.

Investigations regarding both these matters continue.
