Traffic Advisory: 2019 Bermuda Marathon & Half Marathon

The motoring public is reminded that traffic diversions and parking restrictions will be in effect for the 2019 Bermuda Marathon & Half Marathon this Sunday.

The event is part of the Bermuda Marathon Weekend taking place from Friday, January 18th until Sunday, January 20th.

Bermuda Marathon & Half Marathon

Motorists entering the City of Hamilton from Pitts Bay Road will be diverted up Woodbourne Avenue, down Gorham Road, left on Bermudiana Road, and right onto Church Street, in order to gain access to city churches and other locations. Likewise, motorists entering the city from Crow Lane will be diverted up Spurling Hill.

Sections of Roads Closed

Crow Lane between Spurling Hill and the City of Hamilton’s eastern boundary on Front Street from 7:30am until 8:30am.

Corkscrew Hill between Middle Road and Crow Lane from 7:30am until 8:30am.

Trimingham Road between north round-a-bout and south round-a-bout (in a southerly direction) from 8am until 9am.

Front Street between Bermudiana Road and Court Street from 7am until 4pm.

Bermudiana Road between Front Street and Gorham Road from 7am until 4pm.

Par-La-Ville Road between Church and Front Streets from 7am until 4pm.

Burnaby Street between Reid and Front Streets from 7am until 4pm.

No Parking

Front Street between Bermudiana Road and Court Street on both sides of the road, from 4am until 4pm.

Bermudiana Road between Front Street and Gorham Road on both sides of the road from 4am until 4pm.

Rosebank Road between Par-La-Ville and Bermudiana Roads on both sides of the road from 4am until 4pm.

Par-La-Ville Road between Church and Front Streets on both sides of the road from 4am until 4pm.
