Three Continue to Recover in Hospital After Smith’s Parish Car Crash [Updated]

At last check this morning (March 14th) three of the six people hurt in Monday night’s single vehicle car crash – on Middle Road in Smith’s parish near the junction with Clarendon Road – continued to recover at King Edward VII Memorial Hospital. 

The 18 year old woman that was more seriously injured remains in stable condition in the Intensive Care Unit while another 18 year old woman and a 19 year old man continued their recovery in stable condition on a general ward.

All three teenagers were passengers in the vehicle.

The 25 year old man arrested on suspicion of impaired driving regarding the crash has since been released on police bail pending further inquiries.

Update: Friday, March 16th - At last check this morning (March 16th) two of the six people hurt in Monday night’s single vehicle car crash – which occurred around 10:20pm on Middle Road in Smith’s parish near the junction with Clarendon Road – continued to recover at King Edward VII Memorial Hospital.

The 18 year old woman that was more seriously injured remained in stable condition in the Intensive Care Unit while the other injured 18 year old woman that was admitted to a general ward had since been discharged. In addition, the 19 year old man hurt in the March 12th crash continued his recovery in stable condition on a general ward.
