Taxi & Car Collide in Hamilton Parish

Around 11:15am on Monday, December 15th first responders were dispatched to a reported two vehicle collision on North Shore Road in Hamilton parish near the junction with Workmen’s Lane.

It appears that a taxi and a car were being driven along North Shore Road when the vehicles collided. The taxi driver, a 55 year old Warwick man, was taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance for treatment of neck and back pain.

No other injuries were reported; however both vehicles were damaged.

Inquiries are ongoing and any witnesses should contact Constable Kyle Outerbridge at the Southside Police Station on 293-2222.

Reported Missing Person Zina Darrell Located

The Bermuda Police Service would like to thank the public for their assistance in locating 51 year old Zina Darrell. She has since been found.

Weekend Police Activity

Over the weekend police officers arrested five people on suspicion of impaired driving as the Selective Traffic Enforcement Programme (STEP) continues.

Officers also arrested 21 people for outstanding warrants and conducted liquor license checks at various liquor licensed premises throughout the island.
