Around 2:50pm on Wednesday, February 22nd police and first responders were dispatched to a reported sudden death at a Mount View Road, Pembroke residence.

The lifeless body of a 54 year old man was found at that location and currently the scene is being processed by the relevant police personnel.

Inquiries continue, however initial information does not suggest any suspicious circumstances.

No further details will be provided regarding the deceased until next of kin have been notified.

Update: Thursday, February 23rd - The Bermuda Police Service can now confirm the death of 54 year old Robin M. Simmons and extends condolences to his family and friends.

The lifeless body of Mr. Simmons was discovered inside a Mount View Road, Pembroke apartment around 2:50pm Wednesday, February 22nd. 

He was then pronounced dead at the scene by an on call doctor at 3:30pm that day.

Foul play is not suspected. However an autopsy is anticipated.
