Reported Armed Robbery at Esso Service Station in Warwick [Updated]

Police responded to a report of an armed robbery that took place at 4:21pm today at the Esso Tigermart on Middle Road in Warwick.

Details are still emerging but it appears that two males wearing all black with full faced helmets, brandished a bladed article and what appears to have been a firearm.

They were given an undisclosed amount of money and they left the area.

Both males are approximately between 5’8" tall and 5’11" tall.

Update: Friday, February 8th - Detectives are renewing the appeal for witnesses to an armed robbery that occurred around 4:20pm Thursday, February 7th at the Warwick Esso Tigermart.

During the incident two men wearing dark coloured clothing – one brandishing a knife and the other brandishing what appeared to be a firearm – entered the service station, removed a quantity of cash and made good their escape.

No one was injured and the scene has been processed by the relevant police personnel.
