Rambling Lane Shooting Investigation Continues

At last check this morning (March 13th) the 19 year old Pembroke man shot in the Rambling Lane, Pembroke area around 10:30pm last Thursday was in stable condition in the Intensive Care Unit at King Edward VII Memorial Hospital.

No arrests have been made at this time in connection with Thursday night’s (March 9th) shooting and the circumstances surrounding the matter remain unclear.

However, detectives continue to follow all leads in an effort to get a better idea of what took place that night.

Any witnesses that have not yet contacted investigators are encouraged to do so by calling the Serious Crime Unit on 247-1739.

Reported Aggravated Burglary at Belvin’s Variety in Flatts

Around 6am Friday, March 10th police officers responded to a reported aggravated burglary at Belvin’s Variety in Flatts.

It appears that a male employee was opening the store prior to 6am when three unknown suspects, believed to be males less than 5 feet 6 inches tall and slim wearing dark coloured clothing entered, demanding money.

Apparently the intruders accosted the employee, who sustained minor injuries, before taking an item of his personal property and making good their escape on foot.
