Murder of 26 Year old Patrick Dill

The Bermuda Police Service extends condolences to the family and friends of 26 year old Patrick Dill, who was shot in the Crossland Lane, Pembroke area around 10:45pm Saturday May 21st and later, succumbed to his injuries at King Edward VII Memorial Hospital.

Mr. Dill was initially thought to be 27 years of age. His death marks the first gun murder of 2016. A Family Liaison Officer has been assigned to assist the Dill family at this difficult time.

Detectives from the Serious Crime Unit continue their investigation into this fatal shooting and any witnesses or persons with information regarding suspicious individuals or vehicles in the Crossland Lane, Pembroke area around 10:45pm Saturday should contact the Serious Crime Unit on 295-0011 or the confidential and anonymous Crime Stoppers hotline 800-8477.

Fifth Road Fatality of 2016: 17 Year Old Judah Burchall

The Bermuda Police Service extends condolences to the family and friends of 17 year old Judah Burchall, who was seriously injured in a three vehicle collision at the top of Collectors Hill in Smith’s parish around 10:52pm Saturday May 21st and later, succumbed to his injuries at King Edward VII Memorial Hospital.

He was riding an auxiliary cycle at the time of the collision. The female rider of the motorcycle involved was also taken to the hospital and at last check was being treated for an arm injury. Apparently the driver of the car involved was not injured.

A Family Liaison Officer has also been assigned to assist the Burchall family at this difficult time.

The investigation regarding the fifth fatal collision of the year continues and any witnesses or persons that were traveling along Collectors Hill around 10:50pm Saturday should contact the Roads Policing Unit on 295-0011.

Police Continue Appeal for Missing Person 35 Year Old Jevon Daniels

The Bermuda Police Service continues to appeal for anyone with information on the whereabouts of 35 year old Jevon Daniels.

This is the first time that he has gone missing which is uncharacteristic; therefore his disappearance is being treated as suspicious. However when last seen and spoken to, he was in good spirits.

Sergeant Jason Smith of the Serious Crime Unit stated in a press conference on Saturday, May 21st that Mr. Daniels has not been seen since Monday 16th May, 2016 and there is a real concern that he could be in danger.

Jevon is described as brown skinned, between 5 feet 2 inches and 5 feet 5 inches tall with a close haircut, brown eyes and a tattoo on his left forearm.

He is also the father of a 5 year old son and is a very intricate part of his son’s life.

In an effort to locate him, several of Jevon’s family members and associates have already been interviewed and they too are concerned about his well-being.

Any person(s) with information that can assist in locating 35 year old Jevon Daniels should make contact with the investigative team at the earliest opportunity.
