Man Injured in Front Street Disturbance

Around 2:30am today (Thursday, June 8th) police officers and first responders were dispatched to a reported disturbance on Front Street in the City of Hamilton.

Initial information suggests that a fight involving several individuals occurred in the vicinity of Parliament Street.

An injured 25 year old man, believed to be from Devonshire, received first aid from police officers at the scene before being transported to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance for treatment of stab wounds.

At last check, he was expected to be admitted to a general ward.

Three men ranging in age from 18 to 25 years old as well as a 26 year old woman have been arrested in connection with the incident.

The scene was processed by the relevant police personnel and inquiries continue.

ICU Condition Update

At last check earlier this morning (June 8th) the 8 year old boy injured in a motocross cycle crash on West Pembroke Primary School field around 2:25pm Sunday, June 4th remained in stable condition in the hospital’s Intensive Care Unit.
