Man Arrested After Reported Disturbance Outside Woody’s in Sandys

Detectives are currently conducting inquiries regarding a reported disturbance outside Woody’s Sports Bar & Restaurant in Sandys parish that apparently occurred around 11:30pm Sunday, May 13th.

It appears that two men were involved in an altercation with two other men, resulting in two of the men being stabbed.

The individuals hurt – said to be a 47 year old Sandys parish man and a 45 year old Sandys parish man – were treated at the hospital for their injuries and later discharged.

A 27 year old Sandys parish man arrested in connection with this incident remains in police custody pending further inquiries and efforts continue to locate the second suspect.

Witnesses Sought After Reported Disturbance at Vasco Da Gama Club

Around 1:45am Sunday, May 13th police officers responded to a reported disturbance at Vasco Da Gama Club on Reid Street in the City of Hamilton.

There were several people in attendance at the venue for an event when it appears that two men became involved in an altercation inside the establishment, which ended up on Reid Street.

Apparently a 34 year old Warwick man was stabbed during the incident and made his own way to hospital, where he was treated for his injuries and later discharged.
