Johnathan Darrell Named as Murder Victim

Bermuda Police Service can now confirm the death of 27 year old Johnathan Darrell of Fairhaven Lane in Sandys who died as a result of an incident that took place on Saturday August 22nd at 4:15am at the Rural Hill Plaza in Paget just outside of Ice Queen. It appears that a major melee took place in the parking lot with a number of people involved. As a result, Johnathan Darrell from Sandys was taken to King Edward Memorial Hospital with an apparent stab wound to his chest. Unfortunately, the victim was pronounced dead at 4:28 am on Saturday. A family liaison officer has been assigned to the family and the Bermuda Police Service extends our sincere condolences to the family and friends of the deceased.

No further information will be given on the incident until the press conference which is scheduled to take place at 11am on Monday.
