JetBlue Flight Diverted Due to Unwell Passenger [Updated]

Police can report that a 49 year old female Jamaican national residing in New York took ill on a JetBlue flight from Antigua.

As a result, the flight was instructed to divert to Bermuda in the abundance of caution.

On arrival at L.F. Wade International Airport the passenger was going in and out of consciousness. She has been conveyed to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital for further medical attention.

The JetBlue flight is due to leave shortly after refuelling.

Update: Friday, January 25th - At last check this morning (January 25th) the 49 year old Jamaican woman residing in New York who took ill on a JetBlue flight en route between Antigua and New York U.S.A. that diverted to L.F. Wade International Airport around 8pm Thursday (January 24th) was recovering on a general ward at the hospital. After refuelling, the JetBlue flight continued on to its intended destination.
