Industrial Accident

At approximately 11:10am on Monday first responders attended a report of an industrial accident that took place at a Ship's Hill, St. George's residence. It appears that a 63 year old man was painting on a scaffolding when it broke away from the building.

This resulted in the 63 year old man as well as the scaffolding falling approximately 20 feet onto the rocks below. The man was taken to the hospital where he is being treated for minor head injuries.

The Government Health and Safety Officers as well as the relevant officers from the Bermuda Police Service are in attendance and are processing the scene.
