Four Star Deliveryman Robbed by Two Men in Paget Friday Night

Around 10pm Friday, September 7th police officers responded to the reported robbery of a Four Star Pizza deliveryman in the Bostock Hill East, Paget area.

Apparently two male suspects – each brandishing a bladed article – approached the Four Star employee and demanded money when he stopped his motorcycle at the top of the hill.

A small quantity of cash was handed over and both suspects then made good their escape on foot, running down the hill. The Four Star employee was not hurt.

An extensive search for the two offenders, described as approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall of slim build wearing dark coloured clothing was conducted, but they remain at large.

Motorcyclist Injured in Collision With Car on Harbour Road [Updated]

Around 11pm Friday, September 7th police and fellow first responders were dispatched to a reported two vehicle collision on Harbour Road in Paget, near the junction with Lovers Lane.

It appears that the collision – involving a car being driven in the eastbound lane of Harbour Road and a motorcyclist riding in the opposite direction – occurred at a bend in the road.

The rider, believed to be a 28 year old Sandys parish man, was transported to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance for treatment of facial injuries.

An update on his medical condition is anticipated in due course.

Both vehicles were damaged and the scene was processed by the relevant police personnel. Any witnesses to this collision are asked to call Constable Maya Tucker on 295-0011.

Update: Monday, September 10th - At last check this morning (September 10th) the 28 year old male motorcyclist said to be from Sandys parish hurt in a collision with a car around 11pm Friday, September 7th on Harbour Road in Paget near the junction with Lovers Lane had been treated and discharged from the hospital.
