First Road Fatality of 2017: Terry Simmons

The Bermuda Police Service can now confirm the death of 62 year old Terry Simmons of Pembroke and extends condolences to his family and friends.

Mr. Simmons was seriously injured after the motorcycle he was riding apparently struck a wall in a reported single vehicle crash on North Shore Road in Hamilton parish near the junction with Radnor Road around 12:40am Thursday, January 19th.

He was rushed to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance, where he was later pronounced dead at 1:19am.

A Family Liaison Officer will be assigned to assist the Simmons family at this difficult time.

The investigation into this fatal collision, the first of the year, continues.
