Driver & Passenger Unhurt After Harrington Sound Road Car Crash

Around 5:50pm Thursday, December 6th police and fellow first responders attended a reported single vehicle car crash on Harrington Sound Road in Smith’s parish.

It now appears that the car involved was being driven in the eastbound lane of Harrington Sound Road when it struck a wall in the vicinity of Harrington Hundreds Road, damaging the vehicle and the wall.

The driver, said to be an 83 year old Smith’s parish woman and her 12 year old granddaughter (passenger) were unhurt and able to exit the car on their own.

Traffic diversions were in effect in the area for approximately an hour. Any witnesses are asked to call the main police telephone number 295-0011.

Three Vehicle Collision on North Shore Road

Around 5:40pm Thursday, December 6th police and fellow first responders attended a reported three vehicle collision on North Shore Road in Hamilton parish.

It appears that the three cars involved were being driven in the same direction along North Shore Road when the first two cars came to a stop near Green Bay Road.

However, apparently the third car was unable to stop in time, resulting in damage to all three vehicles.

The driver of one of the cars, said to be a 24 year old Devonshire man, was treated at the hospital for minor injuries and later discharged. There were no other injuries reported.

Temporary traffic delays occurred in the area following the collision. Any witnesses are asked to call the main police telephone number 295-0011.

88 Year Old Woman Remains Stable in ICU

At last check this morning (December 7th) the 88 year old woman hospitalised after a three vehicle collision on Middle Road in Warwick near the junction with Riddell’s Bay Road around 9am Tuesday, November 20th remained in stable condition in the Intensive Care Unit.
