Death of Gabriel Deoliveira

Police can now confirm the death of 62 year old Gabriel Deoliveira of Crown Lane in Devonshire who died as a result of an industrial accident that place at Pink Beach on South Road in Smiths on Wednesday at 2:19pm.
It appears that Gabriel was operating heavy equipment, when that heavy equipment fell over an embankment resulting in him being trapped and resulting in his death being certified by an on call doctor at 3:30pm.
An investigation in the circumstances surrounding the death of Gabriel Deoliveira has commenced and the Bermuda Police Service extends our deepest sympathies to his family and friends.
