62 Year Old Male Pedestrian Struck by Car Remains Critical in ICU [Updated]

At last check around 11:20am today (January 18th) the 62 year old man – said to be from Hamilton parish – seriously injured when a car struck him as he walked along North Shore Road in Hamilton parish near Trinity Church Road around 3pm Thursday, remained listed in critical condition in the hospital’s Intensive Care Unit.

The driver involved, said to be a 41 year old St. George’s woman, was arrested on suspicion of impaired driving and later released on police bail.

In addition, the car has been impounded, pending further inquiries.

Update: Monday, January 21st - At last check this morning (January 21st) the 62 year old Hamilton parish man seriously injured when a car struck him as he walked along North Shore Road in Hamilton parish near Trinity Church Road around 3pm Thursday, January 17th was listed in stable condition in the hospital’s Intensive Care Unit.
