At 3:14am on Tuesday June 28^th police and other first responders attended a report of a road traffic collision that took place on Middle Road in Southampton near Jews Bay.  It appears that the driver, a 33 year old man was travelling in an easterly direction in a car with two passengers when it appears that he lost control of his vehicle resulting in the car spinning off of the road way and ejecting the two passengers out of the vehicle. The two passengers were taken to the hospital and the 29 year old female is listed in critical condition in the ICU and the 33 year old male was treated at the hospital and released. The driver was arrested for suspicion  of driving under the influence of alcohol but subsequently passed and was released. An investation into this incident is now underway and police are interested in speaking to anyone who may have seen this collision to contact police on 295-0011.
