Injury RTC

Police responded to a report of a serious single vehicle road traffic collision resulting in injury that took place at the junction of Elliot Street and Princess Street in Pembroke around 3:20 Sunday morning. Details at this point are sketchy however, it appears that a 22 year old Pembroke man was traveling on a cycle on that said road when he lost control of his bike resulting in the rider being found on the ground unconscious. He was taken to KEMH where he is presently in the Intensive Care Unit in critical condition.

Police responded to a report of a breaking and entering that took place yesterday at Elliot Primary School in Devonshire.

Impaired Driving

At 11:45pm yesterday Police arrested a 27 year old Pembroke woman on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol.The 27 year old woman was seen riding a motorcycle without her lights engaged and her helmet was unfastened.As a result Police pulled her over and it was at that time officers smelled intoxicants on her breath, her eyes were glazed over and she was unsteady on her feet.She was arrested

Disturbance

Police are appealing for any witnesses to an incident where a man purportedly was wielding a knife at the Ferry Terminal on Monday December 3rd at around 5pm, which resulted in the man being arrested and being put before the Courts.There were a number of individuals who were in the area at the time and we are asking for witnesses to this incident to please contact Hamilton Police Station on 295-0011.

Police responded to a report of a breaking and entering that took place yesterday at a residence on Blue Hole Hill in Hamilton Parish.It appears that the complainant left her residence at 12:30pm only to return at 5:20pm to notice that someone had entered her bedroom and stole her

Update - Investigation Into Theft of BHC Documents

Two persons who have been on Police bail as part of the inquiry into the stolen BHC documents were today further interviewed by Police and subsequently released from Police bail. Inquiries into the theft of the BHC documents are ongoing.
