The Bermuda Police Service can now confirm the death of 37 year old Kelvin Lamar Quarles of Warwick, who died as a result of a road traffic collision that took place at 8:29pm Thursday on Palmetto Road near the junction of Barkers Hill. Mr. Quarles was pronounced dead at 3:35pm on Saturday by an on call physician at KEMH. Police are still appealing for witnesses to this collision to contact PC Frederick Blunt on 295-0011.

Police are continuing to appeal for witnesses in relation to the road traffic collision which occurred around 8:30pm Thursday at Barkers Hill round-a-bout. We are particularly interested in speaking with anyone who may have seen two motorcyclists riding with the victim prior to the collision. Any witnesses or anyone with any information is asked to contact PC Frederick Blunt or PC Colin Mill at the Roads Policing Unit on 299-4316 or 299-4388.

Injury RTC

At 1:40 this morning, Police received a report of a single vehicle road traffic collision resulting in injury which occurred around 11pm Wednesday at the junction of South Road and Ardsheal Drive in Paget. It appears that a motorcycle was traveling west on South Road when the rider, a 37 year old Paget man, lost control as he attempted to make a left turn at the junction with Ardsheal Drive.
Serious Road Traffic Collision

Police responded to a report of a serious road traffic collision that took place on Thursday evening at 8:29pm. It appears that a 37 year old Warwick man was traveling east on Palmetto Road near the junction with Barker’s Hill when he came into contact with the round-a-bout and fell off his auxiliary cycle. He was taken to KEMH where he is listed in critical condition in ICU.
