Attempted Burglary

Around 11pm on Wednesday, Police received a report of an attempted burglary at a Warwick guest property. It appears that an unknown man, brandishing a weapon and demanding money, attempted to gain entry into a cottage on the premises. However the male occupant of the accommodation shouted for help and the suspect made good his escape empty handed. The victims, a 48 year old Canadian man and his wife, a 50 year old Canadian woman who are visiting the island, were not injured. Inquiries into this incident are ongoing. Police are appealing for any witnesses to this incident or anyone with any information to contact the Serious Crime Unit on 299-4315 or the confidential Crime Stoppers Hotline on 1-800-623-8477.

Burglary- At 12 noon on Tuesday, Police received a report of a burglary at a Cottage Hill Lane, Hamilton parish residence. It appears that an unknown man brandishing a weapon attended the home, forced his way inside and accosted the two female occupants, a 35 year old Hamilton parish woman and her friend. The suspect then made good his escape. The victims were not injured. A 42 year old man has been arrested in connection with this incident and inquiries are ongoing.

At 12 noon on Tuesday, Police received a report of a burglary at a Cottage Hill Lane, Hamilton parish residence. It appears that an unknown man brandishing a weapon attended the home, forced his way inside and accosted the two female occupants, a 35 year old Hamilton parish woman and her friend. The suspect then made good his escape. The victims were not injured. A 42 year old man has been arrested in connection with this incident and inquiries are ongoing. On arrival officers spoke with the complainant who stated that sometime between 7pm on Thursday and 4pm on Sunday, an unknown culprit gained entry into her home while she was overseas. The culprit stole a white gold chain. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

The complainant stated that sometime between 7pm on Saturday and 7am on Sunday, an unknown culprit gained entry into the premises. The culprit stole a quantity of cash. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

The complainant stated that some time between 8:30pm on Friday and 5:40am on Saturday, an unknown culprit gained entry into an office on the premises. The culprit stole a quantity of cash. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
